A guide for orders being despatched to addresses outside mainland Great Britain

1.Security Checks

1.1 In order to protect you from fraudulent card use on our website, all orders are subject to security screening. Any irregularities found may mean your order is not processed.

2. Taxes & Duties

2.1 Deliveries within the EU will incur no import or export duties.

2.2 When ordering goods from our site for delivery overseas you may be subject to additional import duties and taxes, which are levied once the order reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you.  We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Contact your local customs office for further information.

2.3 Please be aware that there may be limitations on what can be sent to you with regards to specific items and order value. This may vary from country to country and we ask that you contact your local customs office for additional information. We cannot refund any shipping costs should your order be returned for any of these reasons.

2.4 You are responsible for checking import thresholds or duties for your delivery address before placing an order. It is also your responsibility to ensure any products you order comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country or region.

2.5 We will endeavour to assist you if customs related restrictions or delays arise when you order from us, but we are unable to provide local support.

3. Delivery

3.1 We currently use two options for international deliveries: A non-tracked service with Royal Mail and a tracked service also through Royal Mail.

3.2 If the items on your order is in stock, we will send your order to you via Royal Mail on a standard non-tracked service. We ask that you allow 20 working days for orders to arrive if sent on this service, however the items are usually delivered within 10 days or less.

3.3 If your order is sent with Royal Mail tracked service, you will receive a tracking email to show the progress of the order.

3.5 Large volume orders may be subject to additional shipping charges. This will be discussed with you prior to your order being dispatched.

What is your returns policy?

4.1 We hope that you will love everything you buy from us, however if this is not the case, we promise to refund any item you are unhappy with when you return it to us in a saleable condition within 30 days of the date shown on your dispatch note.

4.2 When returning items to us, please place your returned goods in their original packaging and do not remove any labels or tags. Any products you would like to return must be in the same physical state as when they were purchased.  Your consumer statutory rights are not affected.

4.3 You’ll need to pay the returns postage and for safety, we recommend using a recorded delivery service with a trusted courier so your goods are insured to their full value and keep proof of postage. Your parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us and we cannot accept liability for goods that are lost or damaged in transit.

4.4 Our returns address is: BD&MAX Returns, 24a Grassthorpe Close, Oakwood, Derby, DE21 4RW, United Kingdom. As long as the goods you send back to us are in their original condition, we will refund your purchase within 21 days of receiving your package or proof that the order has been delivered to us.

Please note – Your returns note will be required as proof of purchase.

How long does it take to process my returns?

4.5 We try to process returns as quickly as possible, but it can take up to 21 days when we’re very busy.
